Midsommaren is a welcomed breath of fresh air in the Nordic melodic punk scene.

The Helsinki-based ensemble consists of 6 friends, who find comfort in echoing guitars and straight-forward punk rock tunes with melancholic melodies. Their debut 7’’ Sottunga / Låt Den Brinna, released in 2021 via Dödstil, raised a positive buzz in the finnish underground and the awaited Midsommaren EP arrived in February 2022.
