THIS PANEL IS IN FINNISH

The corona-pandemic supressed artists’ possibilities to do their work. This #Yfipaneeli, organized by the Jyväskylä University’s Department of Social Sciences and Philosophy, focuses on questions such as: What kind of structural issues has the time brought up? How is the artist’s work nowadays? Is artists’ work appreciated?

The researcher-panelists are docent Mikko Jakonen from Turku University and docent Sari Karttunen from Helsinki Uniarts and Cupore, the center for cultural policy research. The insider-view is represented by artist Rehtori and Petra Luukkainen from theatre-group Puskakollektiivi. The panel is hosted by the deputy head of the Department of Social Sciences and Philosophy, Jari Kaukua.
